50th Reunion Commentary: I have been married to Jim for 49 years and we are both healthy. We have four boys and thirteen grandchildren. I retired form the State of Alaska , Dept. of Environmental Conservation as an executive secretary. Jim and I have traveled extensively around the country in our RV. My hobbies are vegetable and flower gardens and quilting. I am active in our church singing in the choir and serving on the social committee. We have lived in more homes around Washington , Alaska and Arizona than most normal people, but have come to rest in the Skagit Valley . |

50th Reunion Commentary: Greetings from Portland ! Although a resident here for thirty seven years, I still feel fondly connected to the family property on Puget Sound . After retiring from 27 of Government service, I became, and am currently involved in property management. (an interest study of human behavior!). I continue to enjoy local concerts, theater, museums and sports events, but do remain loyal to my Huskies, the Seahawks and Mariners. I have three daughters and four grandchildren. Visiting them in Denver , Malibu and Torrance is always great fun and the highlight of my vacations. Looking forward to the reunion! |

50th Reunion Commentary: I've had a good life. I married Dick Sims, class of 1952. We moved to Maple Valley in 1959. Three children, seven grandkids. Dick passed away three years ago. I miss him. I worked for the Tahoma School District for 28 years. “Keep busy, think young”, is my motto. I enjoy reading, making greeting cards, knitting, and playing in my Bunco group of 32 years. I am an active participant in the local AARP Chapter, helping to enrich the lives of Seniors. I'm a volunteer at the Maple Valley Food Bank. Life is good. |
