50th Reunion Commentary:I finally got my college degree in 1970, planning to teach school. At that time, however, they were laying off teachers. So I went to work for Seattle Housing Authority, thinking of that as a temporary necessity. I so enjoyed my co-workers that I was there for over 29 years, retiring in 1999. It was a great career; you couldn't ask for nicer, more committed people. Mike and I were together for 17 years and it was a happy fulfilling marriage. I lost him last fall to leukemia. His loss has been a crushing blow to me but I am slowly recovering. I would like to hear from anyone who would like to call me.
